15+ Years of my Award-Winning Achievements Leads to Engineeering Relationship Between Myself and a Queen’s Award for Enterprise Winner
Head hunted and approached by a household name who was awarded a highly prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the United Kingdom and being presented on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen herself back in 2021 speaks volumes about my long running reputation as a highly skilled website developer and designer who’s leaded the way to achieving highly recognised awards; time and time again!
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is an awards programme for British businesses and other organizations who excel at International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development or Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility). They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses. The scheme was established as The Queen’s Award to Industry by a royal warrant of 30 November 1965. Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are widely acknowledged as being the UK’s highest accolade for business success. The annual awards recognise outstanding achievement.
With my long history of award-winning achievements over the years, it may come of a surprise when I tell you that my interest isn’t in the awards themselves but instead is based solely on helping people, whether it be a small community locally or worldwide. As a matter of fact, if I can help an individual or business then that is an awesome achievement and more rewarding than any award. Everything in-between is just another brick in the wall.
The serious work and dedication I’ve given over the past 15+ years has been achieved from a single goal of mine… to help people & businesses move forward:- digitally. In turn, this strong work ethic of mine has resulted in some rewards for myself on a personal level as a developer, giving me the opportunity to keep learning the ever-growing digital technologies of tomorrow’s world which in itself gives the academic challenges I desire.
Keep your heart in it, work with people who share your common vision and most importantly listen to people (whether it’s your team or client) so it works like a well oiled machine. Achievements and finances aren’t important! They will follow you when the time is right; along with several other rewards that will help you thrive as an individual/business.
